Introducing Annaliese Melvin
Annaliese Melvin - Business Development Manager
We’ve recently welcomed Annaliese Melvin to the Apex Bridging team. Annaliese is our new Business Development Manager, we caught up with her a few weeks into her new role to see how she was settling in:
1. What was your previous job before joining Apex?
My previous role was Sales Manager for a leading independent estate agency, based in Nottingham city centre. During my time there, I worked with a number of developers and landlords and assisted with their associated sales. This was a thorough introduction to the investment sector and has provided an understanding of a variety of funding solutions.
2. Is the job/team/company what you expected?
The team have demonstrated a passion for great customer service, professionalism, reliability, as well as making the working day fun.
3. Is anything about your role, the team or company still unclear?
So far, I’ve had the opportunity to learn a great deal about the company, products and associates. Apex has a unique view on lending, which promotes solutions rather than problems, and we share a really clear vision for the future.
4. What are you enjoying most about your role?
The variety of cases, circumstances and timescales makes every day different. It’s really rewarding to see our lending solution adapt to each scenario .
5. What are you enjoying least about your role?
The role to date has involved extracting information from colleagues, stakeholders and contacts, so I’m looking forward to making a real start over the coming weeks.
6. Do you feel like you know your co-workers well?
It’s very early days but the team have offered a really warm welcome.
I’m keen to get to know the team more in the near future.
7. What skills do you feel you can bring to the team?
I take a lot of pride in my ability to listen, organise and solve problems. I hope that I have plenty of opportunity to use these skills, as well as others, to the advantage of the whole team.
